Specific regulations for Synaps AI usage.
1. Usage via Discord
When using Synaps AI through our official Discord integration:
- Temporary Processing: Data is processed in real-time to generate responses.
- Instant Deletion: Once a chat or message is deleted by the user, all associated processing data is permanently wiped from our systems.
- No Permanent Collection: We do not maintain long-term databases of user conversations.
2. Usage via Website
For interaction directly through the Synaps web interface:
- Zero Access: We have no technical access to your private conversations. All communication is end-to-end encrypted.
- Local-First: We strive to keep as much logic as possible on the client side to ensure maximum privacy.
3. Local Usage (HuggingFace / Ollama)
For developers running Synaps models on their own hardware:
- Open Source Standards: Usage is governed by the respective open-source licenses (GPL/MIT) attached to the model weights.
- Full Sovereignty: In a local environment, the user has 100% control over data flow and privacy.
- Platform Terms: Users must also adhere to the Terms of Service of the hosting platforms (e.g., HuggingFace).
